Hi, Everyone!
First off, thank you all for the sweet welcoming on my first post!
Today, I'll be introducing you all to my new favorite hair product: my Bed Head Curli Pops curling wand!
I got this tool for Christmas from a cousin, and January 5th was the first time I used it. I didn't really know what I was doing -- like, at all. It was about midnight and I couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd try it out. If it looked bad, it would be okay. I'd just put it in a bun or a ponytail the next day for school.
You'll see in the before and after pictures, but when I curled it that night, I curled it really tightly on purpose. Mainly because I'd be sleeping on it all night (with no hairspray in it or anything) and by my logic, it would have fallen an incredible amount after I woke up. With my curling iron experience, not only can I really only curl the ends because my hair is super-long, but my hair falls drastically in a matter of hours. It might be the length and weight of my hair or I may be doing something wrong, but my hair always falls anywhere from one minute to two hours right after curling, and I didn't think a curling wand's curls would be any different.
Boy, was I wrong!
When I woke the next day, my hair had hardly fallen at all. I had to finger-comb through it to make some of the curl in it loosen up!

Check out the photos below. The first was taken right after curling and before bed, the second was taken after school the following day. I might go ahead and add that I didn't wash my hair that night, didn't touch up my curls at all, and they still look great!
I got countless compliments on my hair that day and styling it didn't take half the time it takes me to curl my hair with a curling iron and about as long (maybe even a shorter amount of time) as it takes to straighten my hair.
Honestly, my only complaint about the item would be that the cord is just a little too short for my liking. But really, if that's my only complaint, it's an amazing tool.
Have you ever tried using a curling wand? How were your results?
Until next time,
Aspen
